Two weeks from the first day of my new job have past.
I am pretty amazed about what they did in just less than one year.
They pretty much built up the GPS system software already.
Althogh it's just the first version, it looks to me it's ready to be commercial already.
I worked hard and made a little improvement by enabling the key in for address numbers to be intelligent so that only the available numbers would be allowed to be type due the valid house numbers on the selected streed.
It was a simple AI compared to what they already have as to enable the alphabetic keys only when typing the city names for instance.
If "TAIPEI" was about to be typed, after 'T', 'A' would be available, if there is no city names that starts with "TB", then 'B' won't be visible. I like the idea for user not to type in anything meaningless.
Anyway, so far the schedule is not quite tight, so I am allowed much time to trace the codes as deep as possible. Hopefully the urgent requests come, I will be able to handle them very quickly as a real professionlist.

A new beginning
I guess I screwed up the interview with Cadence.
Now I am on board at Polstar.
The salary package is a lot less than C, the location beats me to find a parking place, and the working environment doesn't seem as good.
But God led me here for some purpose or reason.
Maybe His will tell me in the future that this was not His decision.
But this is now the only choice I have.
All I can do now is pray for my contribution to the company and the company itself.
Hopefully in the near future, stock will go public, life becomes financially better, and everything is worth it.

Goodbye Incentia
Although my boss and my manager both said sorry and felt regretful to let me go with others that the company asked to leave, the sincerity cannot compensate what I suffered since the bad news was announced.
I had no choice but go on.
For some reason, I felt relieved that no more pressure is on me now. But tomorrow, another day shall come, and new challenges will be encountered.
Today is my last day and I left at 15:30. Having all stuffs packed, this place will never be visited again.
On the other hand, my New Year vacation has started ealier this year and lasts until the first of March.
If I start my new carreer in the next company before that March 1st, then I even get paid twice for the same period of time.
But I tend not do so, for a long time relax does not come so often. And I think I should take good advantage of it. Both my eyes and my waist don't feel good and I'm sure they'll be much better after this vacation.
Thank God, I don't panic much for He must have plans for me. I shall ask for guidance and follow His will, as He will lead the way.

Start a new journey
Never thought that I would leave the company I work for this fast.
Obviously, bad things do happen.
Some print out I left in the copy room show some English skill fill out, which taken by someone on purpose as an evidence against my loyalty to the company has damaged my reputation among the managers.
Although my boss believes my explanation that it has nothing to do with my intention for a new job hunt, he doesn't guarantee that the company will keep me. In either case, there is no staying if someone in the management level remains doubtful of my commitment to company's benefit.
I don't know if this is a coincidence or God's will. Last Friday another company started to contact me about a position in their office. I softly denied their kind offer, but the contact is not over yet.
Now apparently, I am going not to stay here anymore. If this is God's will, may he open the door wide open while closing the other firmly. Right now the closing one is for sure, but I don't know about the opening one. I always wanted to work for an IC design company. But now, since the software company sets up higher barrier, it is better to work for one at this time. Hopefully God leads me the right way.
